When vacationing in Europe, why not automatically look American?

It would be good to mix in at least until I open my mouth! What I wear, hairstyle, shoes, things beside the obvious, such as carrying a camera.

We American love to smile and wave when we meet new people, Europeans do not and that was something it was hard not to do. Do not dress like a tourist. (Not like Griswalds) can carry a camera, not just around his neck. that are more or less like us, but they are very open about sex, do not go in the red light district in Paris, unless you want to see something.
