Long ago booking last minute deals are the way to go, but since the advent of computers, the internet has all the deals, so make sure to check out and plan in advance.
If you are still new to the internet, I suggest you check with the notable sites found in the search engines like Google and Yahoo. You can do this too while you are already in your destination. You may visit cafes that offers internet services and do research for your next itinerary and destinations. Almost everything can be found now on the internet.
