which is more expensive in terms of food, etc, Central Europe (Germany, Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary) or the U.S.?

I am concerned where to go. About the trip airfare and Central Europe (Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and Hungary) and a tour in Los Angeles is somehow equal. I do not know the level of life in Central Europe. Is it more expensive than in Los Angeles?

I think that Germany and Austria are much more expensive than in Czech or Hungary. I live in Hungary, but most home cooking. My husband and I spent about $ 60-80 USD per week on food. We could spend less, but this is also household items and some alcohol. If you eat in restaurants, you will spend much more of course. I have not lived in Los Angeles in the years but the food in the states is more than in Hungary.
